In correlazione al post subito precedente, lascio il link, trovato con il motore di ricerca Google Patents, di un brevetto depositato in Austria il 12 Aprile 1912 che testimonia uno dei primi metodi produttivi del truciolato.
Molto interessante secondo me questo paragrafo del brevetto in cui si descrive la proprietà della resina usata nella preparazione dei pannelli di particelle, ma parla anche di possibili usi alternativi della tecnica:
"The thermosetting resin used according to the invention is particularly suitable for the preparation of particle boards in the short-cycle pressing process. However, the present invention usable resin can also be used advantageously in the production of high-pressure laminates, for the coating of chipboards and hardboard by conventional methods, as well as for the production of molding compounds."
